Q. How much is it to rent a Margarita Machine and what do I get?
A. It is $135.00. Our rental price includes delivery and pick up in our free delivery area, (additional charge may apply for deliver out of free deliver area) one bottle of mix of your choice, use of our 5 gallon mixing jug, use of our 25 foot heavy duty extension cord, if needed, heavy duty free standing rolling cart, skirt for the cart, 50 cups / 50 straws and salt or sugar if requested. We clean up the machine!
Q. Are the machines easy to use?
A. Yes they are! We mix your first batch and show you how to use the machine and add additional batches if necessary. We leave printed instructions as well. We are on call if you have any questions. YOU DO NOT NEED ICE!!
Q. How long until my FROZEN DRINKS are ready?
A. It takes about 45-60 minutes to freeze your first batch. If you can chill your liquor and water before adding it to the machine, it will shorten the freezing time. There is no wait time in between batches because you add to the reservoir when the mix low light comes on.
Q. How many drinks does one batch make?
A. One batch makes about 70-75 nine ounce drinks if you are using alcohol. If you are making your frozen drinks non-alcoholic, you will get about 50 drinks per batch. We recommend one batch of mix for every 20-25 frozen beverage drinkers. We will bring additional bottles of mix for you and you only pay for what you open. Additional mix is $20.00 per bottle. **Please remember to have extra alcohol available so you won't have to run to the store in the middle of your party!!
Q. Who provides the liquor and how much is needed?
A. The customer provides all of the liquor (Margarita Loco does not have a liquor license). A medium strength batch of Margaritas call for three liters of Tequila. You could also use 1 and 1/2 bottles of the 1.75L. (That is the big bottle) See the Recipes and Flavors page for other amounts of liquor depending on the type of drink you are making.
Q. What kind of power outlet do I need?
A. You must have a dedicated 15 amp circuit. If you have anything else running on the same circuit, we recommend discontinuing the use of those items or find another circuit. If you need to use and extension cord, you must use the extension cord we have provided. Damage may occur if you use a smaller extension cord than what we provide.
